High end residential design and build firm (located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan) seeks an experienced designer with residential architectural detailing and design
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:
-AutoCad
-kitchen design/space planning/specifying
-hard furnishings knowledge (ie: moldings, flooring, millwork, doors, hardware, tiles, stone, glass)
-lighting/electrical layouts and designs
-bathroom specifications including hardware, fixtures and fittings
This person will work along side the lead designer and project manager--to help design, implement and expedite our residential renovation projects.
YES, we have used the word "residential" a few times.
That is because we really need a person with serious residential experience not corporate/commercial experience.
Additionally, we currently are only considering applicants who currently live in the New York area.
We are not entertaining applicants looking to relocate.
